Description:
Periplous is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented specialist to assist with the formatting of approximately 500 in-text citations into footnotes that adhere to the specific style guidelines of the National Institute for Public Policy (NIPP). A sample of the footnote style can be found here. This role involves working primarily in Google Docs, though compatibility with Microsoft Word is acceptable as long as final documents return to Google Docs format.

Responsibilities:

Reformat existing in-text citations into footnotes matching NIPP citation style.

Review and edit existing footnotes for consistency, clarity, and proper formatting.

Insert new footnotes where citations are currently embedded as hyperlinks or in-text mentions.

Conduct light research to recover missing citation information for incomplete or unlinked references.

Maintain a high level of accuracy and consistency throughout the document.
