The site is being optimized for a Pinterest-driven monetization funnel:
Pinterest pins ? helpful cleaning articles ? free printable checklist signup ? paid cleaning planner offer ? affiliate/product recommendations.
The goal is to position
The main content categories we are building around are:
Cleaning Checklists
Cleaning Schedules
Room-by-Room Cleaning
Home Freshness & Odor Removal
Dust Control & Air Quality
Floor Cleaning
Laundry & Fabric Care
Cleaning Tools & Product Reviews
Pest Prevention Cleaning
I need someone who can help optimize existing articles so they are more useful, more Pinterest-friendly, better organized, better internally linked, and more connected to the site’s free checklist and paid cleaning planner funnel.
Position Title
WordPress SEO Content Optimizer for Pinterest Cleaning Blog Funnel
Job Overview
I am looking for a detail-oriented WordPress SEO Content Optimizer to improve existing blog posts on
This is not a general writing job. This is not just basic proofreading. This is not only keyword stuffing or generic SEO editing.
The job is to take existing articles and make them stronger for:
Pinterest traffic
reader usefulness
email
printable checklist downloads
paid planner sales
affiliate/product recommendations
internal linking
clear site organization
Each optimized article should feel practical, helpful, and connected to a clear cleaning problem. The reader should come away thinking, “This is useful. I should save this, print this, or download the checklist.”
Main Responsibilities
For each assigned article, you will:
Review the current article and identify the best Pinterest-friendly angle.
Improve the article title if needed while keeping the existing URL unless I approve a URL change.
Rewrite or improve the introduction so it immediately connects to a cleaning, freshness, laundry, floor, dust, room reset, or home routine problem.
Add a short “Quick Answer” section near the top when appropriate.
Improve the article structure using clear H2 and H3 headings.
Add a practical checklist section that readers would want to save, print, or pin.
Add a “Mistakes to Avoid” section when useful.
Add or improve a “Recommended Tools/Supplies” section when appropriate.
Add 4-8 relevant internal links to related
Add a free checklist call-to-action near the top and bottom.
Add a soft mention of the paid Simple Clean Home Quick Reset Planner near the bottom.
Suggest 3-5 Pinterest pin titles for the article.
Recommend the best WordPress category for the article.
Make the post easier to read with short paragraphs, bullets, and clear formatting.
Check that links are working.
Submit changes for approval before publishing unless I give publishing permission.
What Every Optimized Article Should Include
Each priority article should include most or all of the following:
Pinterest-friendly title
Strong problem-focused intro
Quick answer section
Clear step-by-step advice
Printable-style checklist
Mistakes to avoid
Recommended tools or supplies
Internal links to related posts
Free checklist CTA
Paid planner CTA
Suggested Pinterest pin titles
Suggested category
SEO title and meta description
Important Rules
Do not change URLs unless I specifically approve it.
Do not publish changes during the trial without approval.
Do not remove useful information unless it is off-topic, weak, or no longer fits the article.
Do not stuff keywords.
Do not add fake facts, fake statistics, or unsupported claims.
Do not turn informational articles into hard sales pages.
Do not submit generic AI-written filler. AI tools may be used for drafting, but the final work must be useful, edited, readable, and specific to the article.
Do not add irrelevant internal links just to hit a number.
Do not change the site’s strategy. The strategy is already defined: Pinterest traffic, cleaning articles, free checklists, paid planner, and product recommendations.
Skills Required
The ideal candidate should have experience with:
WordPress post editing
Basic SEO content optimization
Internal linking
Blog post formatting
Pinterest-friendly content structure
Strong English writing and editing
Cleaning, home, lifestyle, or organizing content
Creating practical checklist-style content
Following detailed instructions
Experience with Pinterest is helpful, but this is not primarily a Pinterest pin design job. The main work is optimizing the articles so Pinterest traffic has somewhere useful and monetizable to land.
Trial Assignment
The first step will be a paid trial assignment.
You will optimize one existing article and submit the revised version for review.
For the trial, you must provide:
Revised article title
Revised introduction
Improved article outline or structure
Added checklist section
Suggested internal links
Free checklist CTA
Paid planner CTA
Suggested WordPress category
Suggested SEO title and meta description
3-5 Pinterest pin title ideas
You may submit the trial in Google Docs or as a WordPress draft, but do not publish it without approval.
Trial Evaluation
Your trial will be judged on:
Whether the new title fits SimpleCleanHome and Pinterest
Whether the intro connects clearly to a cleaning/home problem
Whether the article is more useful than before
Whether the checklist is practical and save-worthy
Whether internal links are relevant
Whether the free checklist CTA is placed naturally
Whether the paid planner CTA is soft and appropriate
Whether the formatting is clean
Whether you followed instructions
Whether the work feels human-edited and not generic AI filler
Automatic fail if you change the URL without permission, add broken links, ignore the funnel, submit vague filler, or do not follow the checklist.
First Batch of Work
After the trial, the first batch will likely include 5-10 priority articles related to:
bathroom cleaning
floor cleaning
mop alternatives
dust-proofing
refrigerator cleaning
home odor removal
odor eliminator sprays
home scents
laundry odor removal
weekly cleaning routines
The goal is not to optimize every article immediately. The goal is to make the most important articles Pinterest-ready and funnel-ready first.
Estimated Time Per Article
Light cleanup: 45-75 minutes
Standard optimization: 1.5-2.5 hours
Heavy rewrite/reframe: 2.5-4 hours
Product/affiliate post: 2-4 hours
Please include your estimate for how long it would take you to optimize a 1,000-1,500 word article.
How to Apply
Please reply with:
Your hourly rate
Your experience with WordPress
Your experience optimizing blog posts
Your experience with Pinterest-style content
One example of a blog post you improved or optimized
How long it usually takes you to optimize one article
Whether you are comfortable following a detailed checklist
Whether you understand that URLs should not be changed unless approved
The phrase “Pinterest funnel ready” so I know you read this carefully
Applications that do not include the phrase “Pinterest funnel ready” will not be considered.
Budget
This project is budget-conscious. I am looking for someone efficient, reliable, and able to follow instructions carefully.
I prefer to start with a paid trial, then continue with small article batches if the work is good.
Possible structure:
Paid trial: 1 article
First batch: 5 articles
Second batch: 5 articles
