We’re looking for an experienced WordPress developer with a good eye for design to help us improve our agency website. The work spans design fixes, UX improvements, accessibility, SEO, and new page builds — so you’ll need to be comfortable switching between front-end code and creative thinking.
What the work involves
On the design side, you’ll tidy up typography inconsistencies across the site — letter spacing, leading, line length, heading sizes — and fix some layout issues where content is stretching too wide or sitting without enough structure. You’ll also help us redesign the blog, improve how our case studies are presented, and make the ‘reasons to work with us’ bar a proper site-wide feature rather than a one-page experiment.
On the UX side, we want to explore making our contact forms more interactive (we’re looking at Hey Flow), bring more personality into the Contact Us page, and reconnect some event resource pages that have dropped out of the user journey.
For navigation, we’re considering restructuring the top-level menu and want your input on what makes sense for both users and SEO. We’re also planning a set of new pages.
On SEO, you’ll be implementing and standardising meta descriptions across the site, and thinking about how new pages sit within the site hierarchy to support our existing service pages.
What we’re looking for
Solid WordPress development skills — you can build and edit pages confidently without breaking things. A good understanding of on-page SEO best practices. Web Design skills. Clear communication
