About the Position
We're looking for a WordPress Web Developer who can develop high-functioning and scalable web sites and features for our internal projects and our clients.

Duties and Responsibilities
Convert design assets into component-based HTML, CSS and JavaScript
Create extendible WordPress plugins based on specifications
Website theme implementation & set-up with experience building web pages using drag and drop page builders like shogun, elementor, divi & gempage etc.
Strong knowledge of WordPress dashboard (shopify & bigcommerce a plus)
Collaborate with the project strategist to articulate the best technological solution for the problem at hand
Analyze user story acceptance criteria to ensure the technical feasibility and point out potential issues
Architect and develop broadly compatible new products, features, and bug fixes with consideration for accessibility, performance, and multilingual installations
Write high quality code with readability, efficiency and maintainability in mind
Develop and maintain complex WordPress-based applications
Implement complex features using modern PHP code and patterns while following standards


Qualifications
Experience with WordPress front-end development using the following technologies: HTML5, SASS (or equivalent preprocessor)/CSS, and JavaScript (jQuery/ES6)
Experience with WordPress back-end development using the following technologies: PHP, MySQL, WP REST API, JSON
Experience integrating third-party tools, APIs, and CRMs including the following, or equivalent: NGP VAN/EveryAction, ActionKit, ActBlue, Blue State Digital, Salesforce
Strong working knowledge of the web development process including: git, debugging, responsive/mobile, and cross-browser
Strong working knowledge of web principles including: digital strategy, user experience, information architecture, and social media
Experience with building custom themes, using theme frameworks, actions, hooks, filters, etc.
Must be a creative and resourceful designer that can transform software requirements into intuitive user experiences
