WordPress SEO Implementer (One-Time Setup, Template-Based)

We are building a Texas-only medical cannabis authority website and are hiring a WordPress Implementer for a short-term setup project.

This role is strictly implementation. All designs will be provided in Figma. You will convert approved Figma designs into WordPress accurately and cleanly, following exact specifications.

This is not a design role, not a creative role, and not an SEO strategy role. If you like to redesign, experiment, or “improve” layouts, do not apply.

Scope of work:

* Implement approved Figma designs into WordPress
* Build reusable WordPress page templates based on Figma layouts:

* City pages
* Statewide core pages
* Condition pages
* FAQ pages
* Ensure pixel-accurate implementation where reasonable
* Use clean, scalable WordPress structure suitable for large content volume
* Configure a lightweight theme or starter theme (as approved)
* Implement designs using Gutenberg or an approved builder only
* Ensure mobile responsiveness matches Figma designs
* Set up navigation and menus per design
* Configure SEO plugin (RankMath or Yoast)
* Implement basic schema (organization, FAQ where applicable)
* Lock permalink structure (root-level city URLs)
* Optimize for speed and performance
* Set up image optimization and caching
* Deliver a clean, documented handoff for content upload team

Requirements (must have):

* Strong experience converting Figma designs to WordPress
* Experience building template-based WordPress sites
* Strong understanding of responsive implementation
* Familiarity with Gutenberg or structured page builders
* Understanding of SEO-safe WordPress structure
* Ability to follow exact specifications without deviation
* Clean, organized development practices

* Designs are provided in Figma — you do not design
* Layout, spacing, and structure must match Figma
* No URL structure changes beyond instructions
* No creative liberties or layout changes
* No content writing
* No SEO strategy decisions

Project details:

* One-time implementation project
* Estimated duration: 1–2 weeks
* Detailed checklist and Figma files provided
* Potential for future maintenance or implementation work if fit is strong
