WordPress Developer (Web Design & Development)

At Codora, we bring ideas to life through design and technology. We’re an Australian digital agency specializing in web and app development, branding, and creative strategy. We’re growing fast and looking for a talented WordPress Developer who shares our passion for clean design, smart development, and building websites that make a difference.

You’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining modern, responsive WordPress websites for Codora and our clients. You’ll work closely with the founder (that’s me) to bring each client’s vision to life, from concept and design to launch and support. This is a long-term role with consistent projects and the opportunity to grow alongside the company.

Key Responsibilities
Build and customize WordPress websites using Elementor or similar builders.
Translate client briefs and designs into functional, responsive websites.
Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and performance.
Manage hosting setup, backups, and plugin updates.
Troubleshoot issues and provide ongoing maintenance when needed.
Collaborate on creative direction and contribute to layout and design decisions.

Skills & Requirements
Strong experience with WordPress, Elementor, and custom themes.
Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
Experience with WooCommerce and integrations (bonus).
Understanding of SEO fundamentals and responsive design principles.
Attention to detail, great communication, and pride in clean, quality work.
Reliable internet connection and ability to meet deadlines.

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)
Experience with Figma or Adobe XD.
Basic knowledge of automation or API integrations.
Graphic design or branding skills.
Familiarity with website analytics and tracking tools.
