WordPress Developer - Custom Post Types, Elementor & ACF Expert

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced WordPress Developer to join our team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining custom WordPress websites with advanced functionality using modern tools and best practices.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

- Custom Post Types & Taxonomies - Strong experience creating and managing custom post types and custom fields
- Elementor - Proficient in building pages and templates with Elementor Pro
- Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) - Expert level knowledge of ACF for custom field creation and implementation
- WP Engine - Familiar with WP Engine hosting platform, deployment workflows, and environment management
- Strong understanding of WordPress core functionality, themes, and plugins
- Clean, well-documented code following WordPress coding standards
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail

BONUS SKILLS (NICE TO HAVE)

- WPML - Experience with multilingual websites and WPML plugin
- Geolocation - Experience implementing location-based features and functionality
- PHP and MySQL knowledge
- Git version control
- Page speed optimization

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop custom post types and taxonomies based on project requirements
- Build responsive pages and templates using Elementor
- Implement custom fields and dynamic content using ACF
- Maintain and update websites hosted on WP Engine
- Troubleshoot and fix WordPress issues
- Collaborate with the team on project planning and execution

REQUIREMENTS

- Proven portfolio of WordPress websites you've built
- Reliable internet connection
- Good communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
