WordPress / API Developer

Doctors Studio, a premier provider of functional and longevity treatments in Boca Raton, FL, is seeking a skilled WordPress / API Developer to lead the development and optimization of our website's backend infrastructure. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing the entire WordPress backend, including the utilization of plugins like WordPress DIVI and WooCommerce. You will also work with WooCommerce-related plugins, such as WooCommerce POS, to enhance our online store functionality. Additionally, your expertise will be crucial in connecting and integrating applications through APIs to streamline communication and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize the backend of WordPress, utilizing plugins like WordPress DIVI and WooCommerce to enhance website functionality.
- Develop custom plugins, including WooCommerce-related plugins such as WooCommerce POS, to optimize our online store operations.
- Integrate and connect applications through APIs to streamline communication and processes.
- Create and maintain custom API connections for various SAAS platforms.
- Ensure the reliability and security of backend APIs, incorporating best practices and regular monitoring.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement software solutions that align with business objectives.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in WordPress development, including expertise with WordPress DIVI and WooCommerce.
- Strong understanding of API development and integration.
- Familiarity with WooCommerce-related plugins, such as WooCommerce POS.
- Proficient in English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Possession of IT-related training certificates and a college degree.
