Website Management & Design Assistant

Location: Remote

Salary: Market Related

Start: As soon as possible

Purpose

As our Website Content & Design Assistant, you’ll play a hands-on role in publishing high-quality website content, particularly blogs, on WordPress. You will also be supporting site updates, and creating visual assets for both the website and social media platforms. You’ll work closely with our marketing team to bring brand-aligned ideas to life and ensure a seamless, engaging user experience across all our digital touchpoints.

Responsibilities

Website Content Management

Upload, format, and publish blog posts and web content using WordPress.
Visual Design Support

Create graphics, banners, and visual content using Canva.
Support social media and website visual assets with brand consistency.
(Bonus: experience with Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator is a plus!)
Cross-Team Collaboration

Work alongside our Senior Social Media & Content Strategist, Marketing Coordinator, and General Manager to implement content and design strategies.
Perform basic site updates: swap images, fix links, check responsiveness.
Conduct quality assurance checks across devices and browsers.
Key Requirements:

2–3 years’ experience in content management and/or graphic design
Proficiency in WordPress (or similar CMS)
Canva expertise (Adobe Suite is a bonus)
Basic CSS knowledge is a plus
Exceptional English writing and communication skills
Strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset
Comfortable working remotely and independently
Must be available to work NZ-aligned hours (starting at 2:30–3:00 AM SAST)
Additional Requirements (Desirable but not essential)

Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) for design support, Basic SEO, Adobe Suite
