Website Developer – Security & Speed Optimization

We’re looking for a skilled and reliable Website Developer who specializes in site security, performance optimization, and clean development practices. This role is perfect for someone who understands the technical backbone of a website and knows how to make it fast, secure, and efficient — from the inside out.

Requirements:

3+ years of hands-on experience with WordPress (or similar CMS), PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.


Proven experience in website speed optimization (Core Web Vitals, lazy loading, caching, CDN setup, etc.).


Advanced knowledge of website security best practices (firewall configuration, malware scanning/removal, bot protection, SSL, etc.).


Experience using tools like GTmetrix, PageSpeed Insights, Cloudflare, and Wordfence/Sucuri.


Ability to troubleshoot and fix issues such as downtime, plugin conflicts, theme errors, or performance bottlenecks.


Familiarity with server environments (e.g., cPanel, WHM, NGINX/Apache) and site migrations.


Excellent English communication and reporting skills.


Contractor position – must be organized, proactive, and able to manage your own schedule and tasks.
