Website Developer
We are a small, growing business looking for someone to help us establish our online presence by building our website and maintaining it long-term.
Please note: we are a small business and many of the sites we create won't even generate revenue right away. We believe in working your way up — starting pay reflects this, with room to grow as the brand grows.
Description:
• you will be tasked with designing and developing a modern, clean, user-friendly website for our brand
• this is not a one-time project; after the initial build, we will keep you on long-term to manage and maintain the site
• we are looking for someone honest with their hours and reliable with communication
• you will handle regular site updates, backups, security checks, and make sure the site stays fast and bug-free across devices
• you will also make minor design tweaks, update pages, or add new products/content as our brand grows
Hours & Pay:
• 20 hrs per week, could be less, could be more depending on workload
• starting pay is $3–4/hr
• we believe in working your way up — this starts modest but can increase with performance and tenure
Requirements for application:
• send your portfolio/links to similar websites you have built and currently manage
• updated resume
• a short video introduction of yourself (1–2 minutes) telling us a bit about you and your experience
