## Overview

We are seeking an experienced Website Designer / Squarespace Webmaster to redesign and enhance a boutique hospitality website. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for design, understands luxury hospitality branding, and stays current with modern web design, UI, and UX best practices.

Our goal is to create a premium online experience that feels elegant, modern, visually immersive, and easy to navigate while driving direct bookings and guest inquiries.

## Responsibilities

* Redesign and improve an existing Squarespace website
* Create a clean, sophisticated, luxury hospitality aesthetic
* Improve typography, spacing, layout, visual hierarchy, and navigation
* Enhance the guest booking journey and overall user experience
* Ensure the website is fully responsive across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
* Recommend improvements to imagery, content presentation, and site structure
* Optimize website performance, usability, and accessibility
* Troubleshoot website issues and implement updates as needed
* Maintain website consistency and branding standards
* Provide ongoing website support and maintenance when required

## Requirements

* Proven experience designing and managing websites
* Strong Squarespace experience
* Excellent understanding of modern UI (User Interface) and UX (User Experience) principles
* Strong visual design skills and attention to detail
* Experience creating premium, high-end website experiences
* Ability to think strategically about user journeys and conversion optimization
* Strong English communication skills
* Ability to work independently and make recommendations proactively

## Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with hospitality, hotel, vacation rental, real estate, or lifestyle websites
* Knowledge of SEO best practices
* Basic HTML/CSS knowledge
* Graphic design and branding experience
* Experience with booking or reservation platforms
* Familiarity with AI-powered design tools and emerging web technologies
