Website API Engineer

We are building a backend app using the Base44 AI App Builder and are looking for a highly skilled, long-term developer/designer to join our project.

About the Role
This position involves helping us integrate several key systems into our Base44 backend, including:
Setting up an Australian mobile number that can send and receive SMS messages with our clients
Creating API integrations, including:
-Two-way SMS (with inbound webhooks)
-Gmail email integration
-Australia Post API
-Stripe payment API

Writing the Base44 API call examples in JavaScript or Python for workflows such as:
-“Confirm your session” text messages
Automated replies
Providing UI/UX design support for the app (only apply if you are advanced in web & app design)

What We Need
We are looking for someone who is:
-Highly experienced with APIs, webhooks, and third-party integrations
-Skilled in JavaScript or Python
-Comfortable working with Base44 (or similar no-code/low-code builders)
-A strong UI/UX and web designer
-Very fluent in English
-Reliable, proactive, and able to deliver steady progress over 4 weeks
