As we expand, we are seeking a talented Web Developer with Shopify experience to join our team and help drive our digital presence to new heights.

POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Web Developer to join our team on a part-time or contract basis. This role requires a commitment of approximately 2 hours per week, with the potential for additional hours depending on project demands. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Shopify development, a keen eye for design, and the ability to optimize for performance and user experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Shopify Development: Perform custom coding and advanced development tasks on our Shopify store to enhance functionality, performance, and user experience.
- Page Creation: Develop and design product pages from scratch using Shopify’s native drag-and-drop page builders, ensuring they are visually appealing and optimized for conversions.
- App Integration: Assess when to utilize native Shopify tools, third-party apps, or custom code to meet specific development needs.
- Landing Pages: Collaborate with our marketing team to create and optimize landing pages within Klaviyo, focusing on lead generation and customer engagement.
- Optimization: Implement best practices for site performance, including conversion rate optimization (CRO) and search engine optimization (SEO).
- Design and Aesthetics: Work with minimal oversight to create engaging product landing pages, blog pages, and other site elements, ensuring consistent branding and design quality.
- Image Sourcing: Source and integrate high-quality images using tools like Canva to enhance page aesthetics without needing extensive direction.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Shopify Expertise: Proven experience working with Shopify, including custom coding and development. A portfolio showcasing previous Shopify projects is required.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid (Shopify’s templating language).
- Design Skills: Ability to use Shopify’s drag-and-drop page builders and third-party tools to create visually compelling and conversion-focused pages.
- App and Tool Familiarity: Experience with Klaviyo for email marketing and landing page creation.
- Optimization Skills: Knowledge of CRO principles to autonomously improve website performance and user engagement.
- SEO Knowledge: Ability to independently implement on-page SEO best practices to create search-engine-friendly content.

BONUS SKILLS:
- Web Design: Advanced design capabilities, with the ability to create aesthetically pleasing, responsive web pages that align with our brand’s voice and style.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze site metrics and implement changes to improve user experience and site performance.
- E-Commerce Experience: Previous experience working in an e-commerce environment, particularly within health and wellness, is highly desirable.
