We are seeking an experienced Web Developer to support and enhance our eCommerce platform. Our priority is to deliver a fast, seamless user experience with strong technical SEO foundations and a high site authority score. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in coding, performance optimization, and search-focused development.

Responsibilities

Develop, optimize, and maintain our eCommerce website for maximum speed, performance, and stability.

Implement advanced technical SEO practices to improve crawlability, indexing, Core Web Vitals, and overall site authority.

Optimize site structure, schema markup, internal linking, and metadata for stronger organic visibility.

Analyze and improve page load times, server response times, and front-end rendering performance.

Ensure compatibility across devices, browsers, and screen sizes.

Collaborate closely with marketing, content, and product teams to support growth and conversion goals.

Monitor site performance using tools such as Google Search Console, GA4, PageSpeed Insights, Lighthouse, and GTmetrix.

Maintain clean, scalable, SEO-friendly code and troubleshoot technical issues quickly.

Requirements

Proven experience building and optimizing eCommerce websites (Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, custom builds, etc.).

Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one modern framework or CMS template system.

Deep understanding of technical SEO: schema, robots directives, sitemaps, site architecture, canonicalization, Core Web Vitals, etc.

Experience with performance optimization including lazy loading, caching, CDN usage, minification, and image optimization.

Ability to improve Authority Score through technical best practices, site hygiene, and structured data enhancements.

Familiarity with backend languages (PHP, Node.js, Python) is a plus.

Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and communicate clearly with non-technical teams.

Preferred Experience

Previous work on high-traffic eCommerce platforms

Experience with SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog)

Knowledge of conversion optimization, UX/UI, and analytics
