About Us:
We’re GCB Doors & Windows, an established Australian supplier of high-quality aluminum doors, windows, and screens. Our new website is built in WordPress using Elementor and Figma, and we’re now entering a growth phase with clear goals:
Add new product pages and improve layout
Grow our SEO and Google Shopping presence
Build custom tools for tradies, resellers, and nationwide customers...
Working Style:
We’re looking for someone who can take initiative and work independently, while still collaborating closely when needed. You don’t need to check in constantly — if you can own tasks, make suggestions, and improve what’s already there, we’ll give you the freedom to create.
You’ll be working directly with the business owner (who’s not a web developer), so we value clear communication, creative thinking, and a problem-solving mindset.Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Continue building a custom WordPress platform:
Help evolve our site into a scalable platform for residential and B2B customers. You’ll support future features like tradie registration, reseller dashboards, and freight/shipping tools.
Improve layout, structure, and mobile responsiveness:
Fix any mobile/desktop display issues, clean up page structure, and ensure a smooth experience across all devices.
Lead on-page and off-page SEO implementation:
Apply best practices for on-page SEO (headings, image tags, meta titles, internal links) and assist with future content rollouts. Off-page SEO or backlink experience is a plus.
Manage and optimise Google Analytics (GA4):
Set up UTM tracking, ensure GA is reporting properly, and help the team understand how users interact with the site.
Upload and format new product pages using Figma templates:
We have ~10 new product pages to build. You’ll style them to match our existing layout, using Elementor + WordPress custom fields.
Prepare product data for Google Shopping integration:
Assist with product schema, rating display, and variant fields to connect smoothly with Google Shopping.
Replace Zoho Forms with custom WordPress forms:
Rebuild our inquiry forms directly in WordPress and connect them with Zoho CRM for better tracking and user experience.
You’re a Great Fit If You Have:
WordPress + Elementor experience (required)
SEO knowledge (on-page SEO required; off-page a bonus)
Google Analytics (GA4) setup and tracking skills
Experience working with product feeds and Google Shopping (preferred)
Familiarity with Figma designs and CRM integration (Zoho experience is a bonus)
Good English communication and ability to work independently
Working Hours & Contract:
10–20 hours per week to start
Flexible schedule but some overlap with AEST (Brisbane time) preferred
Initial contract is 1–3 months, with potential for more work if it’s a good fit
