To strengthen our team, we are looking for a creative, repsonsible and independent Web Developer & SEO Specialist.

Role Description
As a Web Developer & SEO Specialist, you will be responsible for both web development and SEO execution for our clients and our own company website. You will build, redesign, and maintain websites and webshops while also ensuring they are technically sound, SEO-optimized, and built for long-term organic growth.

You will work on a variety of projects across different industries, combining UI/UX, development, and SEO best practices to create custom, high-performing websites. We are looking for someone who understands that a great website is not only visually strong, but also fast, user-friendly, and optimized for search engines (not a standard template-based solution).

Your Responsibilities
- Develop websites and webshops using WordPress (Elementor & WooCommerce), Shopify, and ReactJS.
- Create unique UI/UX-driven designs that align with each client’s branding and goals.
- Redesign and optimize existing websites and webshops.
- Perform technical and on-page SEO for both client projects and the UPYOURBUSINESS website.
- Maintain, update, and improve our company website.
- Improve website performance, speed, and Core Web Vitals.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and fix bugs.
- Work independently and manage projects from start to finish.
- Communicate progress clearly and professionally.
- Contribute creative ideas and suggest improvements or new functionalities.


Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in web development and SEO.
- Strong experience in: UI/UX design, WordPress (Elementor & WooCommerce), Shopify, SEO (technical & on-page), ReactJS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
- Experience with Framer is a strong plus.
- Ability to create original, non-template-based designs.
- Strong sense of responsibility and ownership over projects.
- Attention to detail and high quality standards.
- Clear, professional, and proactive communication skills.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Ability and willingness to work 32–40 hours per week.
- Availability to work 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Central European Time.


Selection Process
To ensure a strong long-term match, we use a structured selection process:
1. Pre-selection based on CV, portfolio, and motivation.
2. Practical assignments related to web development, UI/UX, and/or SEO. The quality of execution determines whether you proceed to the next stage.
3. One-on-one interviews to discuss experience, communication style, and cultural fit.
4. Final selection followed by a collaboration proposal.
