Web Developer + Designer

About us
We're an Australian social media and brand agency. We handle organic growth, content, design and strategy for premium wellness and lifestyle brands. We're looking for a developer-designer to build and improve client websites — starting with one clearly defined project, with ongoing part-time design work for the right person.
The first project
Optimising an existing Shopify site for a premium wellness brand. It's an improvement of a live site, not a rebuild. The core of the work:

Integrating Shopify + Timely (bookings) + Mailchimp so they work as one connected system
Making the online booking experience simpler and better connected to the site
Rebrand cleanup (old brand name still in title tags / metadata) + a 301 redirect from the legacy domain
Analytics & tracking: GA4 and Meta Pixel set up with key events (views, add-to-cart, checkout, bookings)
Technical and on-page SEO + LocalBusiness schema for two locations
Conversion elements: a reviews/testimonials module and a "Why us / our technology" page

We provide a full brief, all copy and content, and brand guidelines. Design direction is collaborative.
Ongoing (part-time)
We're refining our client's brand identity right now and have steady design work coming. For the right person, after this project we'd love to bring you on part-time, ongoing, to support our design — brand identity plus web and social design across our clients.
You should have

Solid Shopify experience (theme customisation; Liquid a strong plus)
Experience connecting tools via API or Zapier/Make — bonus if you've integrated a booking system (Timely or similar) and Mailchimp before
Technical SEO, GA4 and Meta Pixel setup
Web + graphic design skills with an eye for clean, premium, considered design (Figma / Adobe / Canva)
Strong written English and clear communication
Reliable, organised, able to work independently and hit deadlines

Nice to have: experience with wellness, health or premium lifestyle brands.
