Web Developer

JOB OVERVIEW

In search of a web developer who can work well within a team to create a functional, visually appealing and user-friendly real estate website. He/she will be working with our User Experience Designer within the course of 3 months to create the ---------- aracteristics:
*Works well within a team
*Quick to respond via text, email and other online messaging platforms
*Able to accept feedback and improve, as well as give feedback when needed
*Disciplined and able to work alone without supervision
*Follows through on deadlines and deliverables

Responsibilities Include:
*Writing well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
*Cooperate with web designers to match visual design intent
*Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
*Integrating data from various back-end services and databases
*Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
*Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our site
*Create and maintain software documentation
*Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices

Requirements:
*BS in computer science or a related field with experience in developing other websites (please send in your portfolio)
*Top-notch programming skills and in-depth knowledge of modern HTML/CSS
*Adequate knowledge of relational database systems and web application development
*A solid understanding of how web applications work including security and best development practices
*Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills
*Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization process
