JOB OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a sharp, independent Web Designer & WordPress Developer to build a clean, conversion-focused, outstanding web shop for our brand – and to actively co-create the store concept and structure together with us.

This is not a “just execute a template” job. I’m looking for someone who can think with me, suggest better solutions, and help design the shop so it actually sells.

What you’ll do:

Design a modern, user-friendly website (desktop & mobile) based on our brand vision.

Work closely with me to shape the store’s structure, layout, and customer journey (categories, product presentation, homepage, offer flow).

Build the site on WordPress with WooCommerce, preferably using Elementor (or a similar page builder you are comfortable with).

Configure product pages, categories, cart, checkout, payments, shipping and basic automations.

Implement best practices for UX, performance and basic on-page SEO.

Integrate essential tools (analytics, pixels, email marketing, etc.).

Prepare the site so it’s easy for us to manage products, content and promotions without a developer.

What we expect:

Proven experience in designing and building WordPress e-commerce sites (please share portfolio / live links).

Start your message with "An apple" so I know you read the description.

Strong sense of UI/UX and clean, modern layout design.

Very good knowledge of WordPress, WooCommerce, Elementor (or similar builders), themes and plugins.

Ability to work with design tools (e.g. Figma, Adobe XD, or similar).

Ability to advise and push back when needed – if you see a better idea, say it.

Understanding of CRO basics (how to structure a shop to increase sales, not just traffic).

Good communication, clear status updates, ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Nice to have:

Experience with A/B testing, landing pages and funnels.

Experience with performance optimisation (caching, image optimisation, Core Web Vitals).

Experience setting up email flows (abandoned cart, post-purchase, etc.).

What we offer

Clear business goals and target audience – we know what we want to sell and to whom.

A chance to co-create the final look and flow of the store, not just “code a brief”.

Direct decision-making, fast feedback, no corporate bureaucracy.

Opportunity for long-term cooperation on further optimisations, new features and future projects.

If you’re interested, please send:

A short introduction (who you are and how you work),

CV,

3–5 links to web shops you designed/built on WordPress,

Your estimated budget/rate and timeline for a full store build.
