Job Description:
We are looking for a reliable, proactive Virtual Assistant to support our junk removal and scrap recovery operations.
Your main responsibilities:
• Searching Facebook Marketplace daily for free appliances, scrap metal, and suitable junk items.
• Focusing on items near specific recycling hubs (you will be given the target locations).
• Contacting sellers, negotiating basic pickup terms when needed, and helping build full trailer loads that fit our scheduled pickup windows.
• Using mapping tools (Google Maps / Apple Maps) to verify locations and distances.
• Logging all leads, seller details, item descriptions, and scheduling information into Google Sheets.
This is a research + coordination role only. You will help fill our scheduled pickup days with strong loads. Physical pickups are handled locally by our team.
Requirements:
• Strong experience using Facebook Marketplace (searching, messaging sellers, and coordinating).
• Excellent written English communication skills (clear, professional, and polite).
• Proficient with Google Sheets for organizing and updating data.
• Comfortable using mapping tools for location research.
• Self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
• Consistent part-time availability with reliable internet.
