About the Role
We are a performance marketing agency. We run paid media campaigns on Meta and Google for DTC and ecommerce brands.
We're looking for a part-time marketing ops VA to own execution across ops, client sourcing, social media, and competitive research so our core team stays focused on strategy and paid media.
Starting part-time (~20 hrs/week) with a clear path to full-time as you prove yourself.
What You'll Do
Ops & Admin
• Organize and maintain Google Drive (naming conventions, folder structure, file hygiene)
• Build and update SOPs as we document recurring processes
• Manage task tracking and follow-ups in Slack/Notion
• Maintain and update lead pipeline and follow-up sequences in Google Sheets
• Light campaign QA and creative uploads in Meta Ads Manager
• Daily budget pacing checks and spend monitoring -- flag anomalies before they escalate
• Compile weekly performance reports from platform dashboards into structured summaries
Client Sourcing
• Build and maintain lead lists of DTC/ecommerce brand founders and marketing directors using LinkedIn and other tools
• Verify contact info and filter by revenue band, ad spend signals, and platform (Shopify, etc.)
• Load lists into outreach tools (Instantly, Lemlist, or similar)
• Track outreach metrics -- open rates, reply rates, calls booked -- and report weekly
Competitor Analysis
• Monitor competitor ad creatives using
• Track messaging, offers, creative formats, and frequency changes across brands we're targeting
• Compile findings into a weekly summary the team can act on
• Flag anything notable as it happens -- don't wait for the weekly report
Social Media Management
• Own posting schedules across platforms for agency and client accounts
• Write and schedule content using approved messaging and brand voice
• Monitor engagement and respond to comments/DMs
• Maintain a content calendar and flag when creative assets are needed
You're a Fit If You:
• Have 2+ years of VA or marketing ops experience, preferably with a DTC or agency team
• Are fluent in Google Drive, Google Sheets, Slack, and Notion
• Have hands-on exposure to Meta Ads Manager
• Have done lead research, list building, or competitive research before
• Can manage multiple workstreams simultaneously without dropping balls
• Communicate clearly and proactively in async environments
You're NOT a Fit If You:
• Need hand-holding to stay on task
• Have never worked in a fast-paced remote or agency environment
• Can only do one thing well -- this role requires range
• Treat deadlines as suggestions
Details
Part-time: ~20 hrs/week to start, with path to full-time
Pay: $500-$700/month (part-time) | $800-$1,200/month (full-time)
100% remote, async-first
Must overlap with US Pacific/Mountain time for at least a few hours per day
Time tracking required via Hubstaff or Time Doctor -- clock in and out every session. Weekly logs reviewed by management
