Virtual Assistant - Bookkeeping & Finance (QuickBooks / Ramp)

Boss Networks is hiring a detail-obsessed bookkeeping VA to own our financial records end-to-end. This is not a light data-entry role — we need someone who can untangle 3 years of QuickBooks history, keep our Ramp expense data reconciled monthly, and build clean systems going forward.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN:
- Audit and clean up 3 years of QuickBooks Online records (chart of accounts, categorizations, reconciliation gaps, duplicate entries)
- Monthly account reconciliation aligned with Ramp card activity and bank statements
- Code and categorize transactions in Ramp; flag anomalies; ensure every charge has a memo and receipt
- Manage accounts receivable and payable — create, send, and track invoices; follow up on overdue balances
- Prepare clean monthly financial snapshots (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) for ownership review
- Flag tax-relevant items and keep records organized for the accountant
- Build and document processes so the books stay clean going forward

MUST-HAVES:
- 3+ years of hands-on QuickBooks Online experience — fast and confident, not just familiar
- Proven experience cleaning up neglected or messy books (be ready to describe your approach)
- Ramp experience OR strong background with a comparable card platform (Brex, Divvy, Expensify)
- Solid grasp of basic accounting: debits/credits, chart of accounts, accrual vs. cash basis
- Invoicing, billing, and AR follow-up experience
- Extreme attention to detail
- Reliable, self-directed, and meets deadlines without hand-holding

NICE TO HAVE:
- QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification
- Direct Ramp experience
- Familiarity with 1099 prep and contractor payment tracking
- Prior experience supporting a small business owner directly
