[HIRING] Remote Video Editor (Philippines) — Ongoing Work

We’re looking for a reliable, creative Remote Video Editor based in the Philippines to help us turn raw 4K footage into high-quality long-form videos and social cuts. This is ongoing work for the right person.

About the work

You’ll be editing from proxy files (we already have all the original raw clips).

We’ll send you proxies + folder structure.

You edit, then send back your project file/XML + assets used.

We relink to originals and export final in full 4K on our side.

What you’ll do

Edit raw footage into clean, engaging final videos.

Add music, SFX, basic sound leveling, and pacing that keeps attention.

Create versions for social (Reels/TikTok/Shorts) from long-form edits.

Add captions/subtitles and simple on-screen text when needed.

Do light color correction (not heavy VFX unless agreed).

Deliver on schedule and communicate clearly.

You’re a good fit if you

Have 2+ years editing experience (freelance, agency, or creator work).

Can show a portfolio with similar style/content.

Know how to work with proxies and relinking in:

Premiere Pro and/or DaVinci Resolve (Final Cut ok too).

Have a good feel for rhythm, storytelling, and modern online editing.

Are responsive, organized, and consistent with deadlines.

Have stable internet and can download/upload proxy folders.

Proxy / file workflow

We’ll provide:

Organized proxy folders

Music/SFX references (or you can suggest)

Brand/style examples

Clear notes per edit

You provide:

Edited timeline/project file (Premiere .prproj / Resolve .drp / XML)

Any added assets (music, SFX, graphics, fonts)

Final review exports for feedback

Pay

We’re open to hourly or monthly retainer depending on your speed/quality.

Target range (PH market-aligned):

?35,000 – ?60,000/month retainer for ongoing work

or ?300 – ?600/hour depending on experience/portfolio

(These ranges match current PH remote editor salaries and typical freelance rates.)
