Video editor

We’re looking for a talented and highly creative remote video editor based in the Philippines to join our team and help bring DIY, interiors, craft and creative projects to life across digital platforms. Fluent in English is a key requirement.

This role is perfect for someone who loves storytelling, understands social-first content and knows how to turn raw footage into engaging videos that inspire millions of people around the world. Content is craft, DIY, sewing and therefore experience in this subject is beneficial.

You’ll be working across short-form and long-form content including Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube videos and online courses. Tasks:
• Editing engaging social media videos (Instagram Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts)
• Editing longer-form YouTube videos and educational course content
• Creating strong storylines from raw footage
• Adding music, captions, graphics and sound design where required
• Selecting the best ---------- nts and improving flow, pacing and retention
• Repurposing content across multiple platforms
• Basic photo editing and visual asset support when needed
• Managing files, exports and revisions efficiently
• Collaborating remotely with our creative team

Requirements:
• Proven experience editing social media video content (portfolio required)
• Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok and YouTube content styles
• Excellent storytelling skills and creative instincts
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
• High attention to detail and pride in your work
• Strong communication skills and reliable remote working habits
• Experience with Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut or similar editing software
• Good internet connection and your own editing setup

Bonus skills:
• Experience editing creator/influencer content
• Knowledge of viral hooks, pacing and audience retention
• Motion graphics or animation skills
• Interest in DIY, interiors, craft or creative content
