Video Editor for TikTok & Short-Form Content

I’m looking for a reliable video editor to help edit short-form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts within a 48 turnaround time.

These videos are typically 30 seconds to 60 seconds long. Approximately 200 videos a month give or take. But they’re all pretty much the exact same, it’s very repetitive and easy work.
Responsibilities

* Cut dead space from talking-head videos
* Add captions and text overlays
* Add images, screenshots, and visual overlays
* Create simple B-roll style edits
* Follow editing examples and brand guidelines
* Deliver videos on time with attention to detail

Requirements

* Strong English comprehension
* Reliable internet connection
* Good communication skills
* Attention to detail
* Experience editing short-form content
* Familiarity with TikTok, Reels, and Shorts editing styles

Application Process (Required)

To apply, complete the editing test below.

Step 1: Review the example video provided.

Step 2: Download the raw footage from the Google Drive folder.

Step 3: Recreate the finished video as closely as possible using the provided assets.

The goal is to match the editing style, pacing, captions, visual effects, and overall feel of the final video.

Applicants who complete the test successfully will be invited to a video interview.

Communication & Workflow

We use:

* Google Drive for file management
* Discord for daily communication

Editors will receive:

* Raw footage
* Video instructions
* Reference examples
* Editing notes

Daily work will be organized in Google Drive folders, and completed videos should be uploaded back to the designated folder.
