FlowState Film Co is a Melbourne-based creative studio specializing in photo and video production for fitness, wellness, and lifestyle brands.

We work with brands like gyms, recovery drinks, and wellness companies — capturing everything from brand shoots and athlete stories to social content and ads.

We’re a small but fast-moving creative team looking for a talented Video & Photo Editor + Social Media Assistant to join us part-time. The role starts project-by-project but can grow into a long-term position for the right person.

???? What You’ll Be Doing

???? Video & Photo Editing (60%)

Edit short-form content (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts)

Assemble project videos for clients (gym shoots, product shoots, brand campaigns)

Retouch and color-grade photos

Organize and export final deliverables following brand guidelines

Maintain file structure, naming conventions, and Drive organization

???? FlowState Social Media & Growth (40%)

Help post and schedule content across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube

Repurpose content (cut downs, thumbnails, captions, stories, etc.)

Research and suggest new content ideas and trends

Assist in lead generation: finding new brands or businesses to reach out to

Help with outreach emails or DMs to potential clients

Track engagement and growth metrics to improve performance

???? Who We’re Looking For

1–3 years of experience in video and photo editing

Skilled in DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, or Final Cut Pro

Strong eye for detail, pacing, and modern social video trends

Basic knowledge of photo editing (Lightroom, Photoshop, or Canva)

Excellent written English and communication skills

Organized, proactive, and eager to learn

Can work independently with minimal supervision

Available to overlap some hours with AEST (Melbourne time)

Experience with Notion, Canva, or Google Workspace

Basic understanding of paid social or digital marketing

Interest in fitness, CrossFit, wellness, or lifestyle content

Experience writing captions or managing social media accounts
