Video Editor for Youtube Channel (Experience Required)

We are looking for an experienced (2+ Years minimum) video editor that is smart, fast, has a great work ethic, is self directed, follows directions, not afraid to ask questions for clarification, completes projects on time, has excellent editing style, is passionate & cares about your work, and will make our videos look professional. This is a part time job offer with the potential to become full time based on your speed, accuracy, quality of your edits, and how well we work together.

I currently have 16 hours of video footage to edit into 48 segments that are each approximately 10-15 min long interviews for a Youtube channel with a Mon, Wed, Friday release schedule. There is easily another 20 hours about to be shot, with more to follow for the foreseeable future. Plus a new project starting in July. How much work you get depends on your speed, accuracy, and the quality of your edits.

This job requires that you have proficient experience using Adobe Premiere Pro / After Effects / Adobe Audition / Adobe Illustrator.
Video footage, titles, theme music, lower thirds and graphic templates will be provided.
You must be FAST, efficient, and have previous experience editing!

You will be able to work from home, however you must have a fast internet for downloading and uploading Hi-res footage!

Job Description:
-Cutting & trimming footage
-Syncing audio and video
-Removing umms, Ahhs, loud background noises (cars, planes, loud clicks)
-Insert Titles, Lower-Thirds, Intros & Exits
-Basic video touch ups techniques (color, sound and etc)
-Editing video clips for social media post
-Creating Video thumbnails
-Accurate Transcribing (optional but super helpful)

It would be very helpful if you have experience with creating professional videos for these social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, IGTV, IG Stories. However it is not required.

All Candidates Require the Following:
-Fluent English (written and spoken)
-Can follow directions and will ask questions if you have any confusion
-Willing to speak up if you know a better way to accomplish the tasks given efficiently and on time (I want your expertise)
-Great video editing skill using Premiere Pro CC
-Skill and experience using After Effects to create titles for video
-Graphic design skill and experience using Adobe Illustrator to create thumbnails and graphics for video and web
-Edit the footage in a fashion that is similar to or better than the existing video on the Youtube channel
(We are interested in being shown a better style if you think you can improve what we’re doing)
-Have a working computer that meets Adobe Premiere minimum requirement
64-bit multi-core processor.
64-bit Windows 7 (SP1), Windows 8.1, or Windows 10.
8 GB of RAM.
8 GB HDD space (additional free space required for footage and your operating system)
-Reliable high speed internet for downloading and uploading Hi-res video
-Webcam / Cellphone for Video Conference via Google hangout, Skype, Zoom or Facebook
-Familiar with Youtube backend
-Must be extremely organized and detail oriented
-Must be a great manager of time and be able to work autonomously from home
-Can give realistic estimates of time to accomplish project and meet the deadlines agreed to
