I'm looking for a long-form video editor for my football (soccer) YouTube channel, Football Protocol. The channel makes cinematic, documentary-style football guides (15-22 min). 200k+ subscribers, growing fast.
This is a part-time role (20 hrs/week) with room to grow into more hours and higher pay as the channel scales.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
1) Edit long-form videos (15-22 min) from a script + voiceover I provide: voiceover
2) Source and sync football match footage, b-roll, and player clips that match what the voiceover is talking about.
3) Add clean motion graphics, text callouts, sound design, and light color grading to match the channel's style.
WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR:
- Experience editing long-form YouTube content
- A strong sense of pacing and retention, you understand how to keep a viewer watching for 18 minutes.
- Reliable, communicates clearly, hits deadlines.
- Bonus: you actually like or follow football, and you have intermedium knowledge.

HOW TO APPLY:
- Type "Let's play football" at the very top of your application (applications without this are ignored, I want people who read fully).
- Share your portfolio, focused on long-form work.
- Tell me briefly: what editing software you use, how long you typically take to edit one 18-min video, and why you're a good fit for this specific channel.
If your application fits, I'll send you the instructions for a short demo.
Looking forward to seeing your work.
