Video Editor and Map Animation Creator (YouTube – Geography Channel)

We are looking for a Video Editor specialized in Motion Graphics / After Effects to edit videos and create map animations using Google Earth for an English-language YouTube channel focused on geography and maps.

Key Requirements:

- Advanced After Effects

- Motion Graphics

- Google Earth / Google Earth Studio (for map animations)

- Experience editing long-form videos (around 30 minutes)

- Experience with YouTube content (copyright knowledge)

- Good enough English to work with English voice-over narration

Responsibilities:

- Edit 3 videos per week, approximately 30 minutes each

- Create map animations (zooms, flyovers, highlighted areas, overlays, etc.)

- Use Google Earth Studio for geographic animations

- Create explanatory motion graphics (arrows, text, icons, lines, transitions)

- Sync visuals with English voice-over narration

- Maintain a consistent and professional visual style

- Deliver YouTube-optimized videos (pacing and viewer retention)

This is a long-term position, and we will share reference YouTube channel links privately so you can clearly understand the style and quality we are looking for.

Finally, we will ask for a short test edit (30–40 seconds) to confirm that you can deliver the style and quality we are looking for.
