Video Editor / Virtual Assistant (TikTok Content + Email Management)

We're a US-based TikTok Shop affiliate content business (health, wellness, and lifestyle niches) looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Video Editor and Virtual Assistant to support our growing content operation. This is a long-term role for the right person — we move fast and value consistency, communication, and quality work.
Responsibilities

Video Editing:

Edit talking-head videos with tight, seamless cuts — audio from one clip should flow continuously into the next with no dead air or silence gaps between cuts
Cut all dead space/pauses while keeping the cuts feeling natural, not choppy
Create B-roll style videos from raw footage
Add overlay images/graphics into videos
Maintain consistent style and pacing matching our brand voice
24-hour turnaround on all edits and revisions




Email/Inbox Management:

Sort through inbox daily to flag potential brand retainers, collaboration offers, or partnership opportunities
Organize and label emails for easy follow-up
Draft simple response templates when needed
Flag time-sensitive items immediately

Requirements:

Strong written English (you'll be reviewing brand emails and communicating with us daily)
Excellent attention to detail
Proficient in CapCut (required); experience with other editors a plus
Stable, fast internet connection
Comfortable using Google Drive for file sharing and ---------- for daily communication
Reliable schedule, able to meet 24-hour deadlines
Prior experience editing for TikTok/Instagram Reels/YouTube Shorts strongly preferred
