THE ROLE
We are building a business YouTube channel and need a video editor who understands retention and knows how to make people keep watching.
You will edit talking-head footage into finished YouTube videos and short-form clips. You will also edit Meta ad creatives. You work directly with the founder.
The style we are going for: fast-paced, value-dense, business content. Reference channels: Alex Hormozi, Dan Martell, Caleb Ralston.
---
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Edit 1 long-form YouTube video per week (10-20 minutes). Talking head with b-roll, captions, text overlays, and basic motion graphics.
- Create 1 short-form clip per day from existing long-form content (Shorts, Reels, TikTok).
- Edit 5 Meta ad creatives per week (20-40 seconds). Direct-response style, strong opening, clear message.
- Keep files organized. Raw footage, project files, and exports all in the right place.
- Track basic performance numbers each week and flag what is working.
---
WHAT WE NEED
- At least 1 year editing business or entrepreneurship YouTube content.
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro. After Effects is a plus.
- Good with captions, pacing, and audio cleanup.
- Can deliver a first draft within 48-72 hours of receiving footage.
- Communicates clearly. Flags issues early. Does not go quiet.
- Meets deadlines without being chased.
