About us
We're a fast-growing direct-to-consumer footwear brand scaling on Meta. We're building an in-house creative engine and need a sharp video editor to be the person who turns scripts and raw footage into scroll-stopping ads — at volume. This is a long-term role with room to grow as we scale.
What you'll do
Edit short-form video ads (15–45s) for
Source and assemble b-roll / licensed stock footage that fits each script (you know where to find great footage — we don't want to)
Sync provided voiceovers and add clean, well-timed subtitles/captions (caption text is provided, sometimes in Swedish — you copy it in exactly, special characters included; you do NOT need to speak Swedish)
Cut multiple hook and variation versions of each ad so we can test fast
Deliver in correct Meta formats (9:16, 1:1, 4:5) with safe zones respected and a strong first 3 seconds
Keep a steady output — we test a lot of creative
You're a great fit if you
Have a portfolio of short-form/ad edits (UGC-style, b-roll + VO + captions) — not wedding videos or long YouTube edits
Are fluent in CapCut and/or Premiere Pro (After Effects a plus)
Have a strong instinct for pacing, hooks, and retention — you understand an ad has to earn every second
Know where to source b-roll and stock (free and paid) and understand licensing
Are fast, reliable, communicate clearly, and hit deadlines
Can handle volume and iterate quickly on feedback
Bonus points
You understand direct-response / performance creative (hook ? problem ? mechanism ? CTA)
Experience editing DTC / e-commerce ads
Basic motion graphics / text animation
