Video Editor

We are looking for an experienced Video Editor to join our team. This role requires a passion for creating compelling visuals and a drive to deliver projects on time.

The ideal candidate must have experience editing videos specifically for YouTube, including the ability to repurpose video clips into reels and ---------- addition, this person should have experience with graphic design in order to create engaging YouTube thumbnails, e-books, and marketing graphics. Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence tools is a plus but not required.

Must be able to work collaboratively with Social Media team during U.S. hours. We prefer to find someone full time, but can make an exception for part time if it's the right fit.

Responsibilities:
• Edit raw footage/video into high-quality content for YouTube
• Repurpose pre-existing video clips into reels and shorts
• Identify key elements from footage (dialogue, sound effects) to ensure desired outcomes
• Develop motion graphics and animation as needed
• Create thumbnails, e-books, and other marketing graphics
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while keeping them organized within folders or other media management systems
• Collaborate with internal teams including content creators, producers and directors on projects
• Ensure final product meets quality standards by utilizing color correction techniques

Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in video editing specifically for YouTube
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud applications such as Premiere Pro and Photoshop or similar. Knowledge of Descript is desired
• Excellent knowledge of color correction techniques, editing techniques, text overlays, social design features and trends, and video graphics
• Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence tools (a plus)
• Ability to work quickly under pressure without compromising quality
• Excellent communication skills
