JOB OVERVIEW

Video Editor Needed - Footwear Brand (Paid Per Video)

Pay: $25-30 USD per video
Type: Freelance / Per-project, ongoing work for the right fit
Niche: Footwear / Comfort & Orthopedic Shoes (US market)

About the Role

We're a growing footwear brand looking for a skilled video editor to create high-converting VSL-style and UGC-style ads. You'll be working with a mix of content we provide and content you source yourself.

This is an ongoing opportunity - after a short test edit.

What You'll Be Editing

VSL-style videos - structured, persuasive video sales letters highlighting product benefits
UGC-style ads - native, authentic-feeling content with heavy use of B-roll
A mix of both styles depending on the assignment

What We Provide

Some raw footage and product content
Brand guidelines, messaging, and direction per assignment
Reference examples for style and pacing

What We Expect From You

You're comfortable sourcing additional B-roll content yourself via Pinterest and/or TikTok when needed to fill out a video
Strong sense of pacing, hooks, and retention for short-form and VSL formats
Experience editing for paid social ads (Meta/TikTok) is a big plus
Reliable communication and ability to turn around videos within agreed deadlines

How to Apply

Send us your portfolio or examples of previous video editing work (UGC and/or VSL style preferred)
If selected, you'll complete a short test edit (30-45 seconds) based on a sample brief - just the hook and problem section, so it's a small time investment
Based on the test, you'll be added to our rotation and receive assignments going forward

Pay Structure

$25-30 USD per video, depending on complexity
Short test edit (30-45 seconds), if approved, your first full video becomes your first paid assignment
Ongoing work for editors who deliver consistent quality

If you're someone who understands what makes short-form video stop the scroll and can bring your own creative eye to sourcing B-roll, we'd love to see your work.
