Video Editor

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Video Editor / Clipper to help us create high-converting short-form content for Meta ads.

This role is ideal for someone who understands both editing and performance. We are not just looking for someone who can make videos look good, we need someone who knows how to make people stop scrolling, keep watching after the hook, and convert.

Responsibilities:
Edit short-form videos, typically between 30 seconds to 6 minutes.
Add captions (with ai), sound effects, transitions, zooms, and pacing that improve retention
Follow creative direction while also bringing your own input and ideas
Deliver work consistently and on time

Requirements:
Experience editing short-form content for social media
Strong understanding of attention, pacing, and what makes content engaging
Ability to edit for performance, not just aesthetics
Write dabi in the Title when applying for this job.
Being able to translate videos to other languages.
Experience with CapCut.
Good communication and reliability
YOU NEED TO BE ON TIME.
Be able to break down the scripts we make and make the visuals congruent with the voiceovers.

Share a canva, google drive, or other cloude storage file etc with some of your previous work. + Notion, very simple.

Compensation:

Translation
2 usd = 1 video

Video editing
Start: $6.5 = 1 video
Target: $10+ = 1 video
This is our baseline.
If we notice good quality we will increase your salary.
