Video Editor

I am looking for a reliable, long-term Video Editor to join me part-time. Potential for an increase in hours. The channel focuses on deep-dive track and field analysis, athlete commentary, and data metrics. We need clean talking-head pacing, seamless removal of multi-takes, and sharp, clear data visualization layouts, and clear integration of B role.

I am currently posting once every 5-6 days, and would like to post every 4 days. Videos are 12-18 minutes each.

My Workflow:

I provide raw talking-head footage alongside clear data charts and screen-recorded race clips.

I will send you the script for the video, the charts, and where the charts go within the script. I am open to do this differently to fit your workflow.

We use a "Final Take" rule—assume the last attempt at a sentence is the one to keep, cutting out any stumbles or previous takes cleanly. UNLESS stated otherwise within the video.

Hiring Process:
$225 per month.
This is a permanent part-time position (approx. 16 hours/week). To find the right match, I will shortlist our top candidates and run a short, paid tryout using the first 6 minutes of an upcoming video. This trial pays a flat $20 USD.

Requirements:
Experience editing clean and professional talking-head.

Ability to follow verbal instructions on camera and match assets accurately to audio.

Stable internet connection and reliable communication.
