Video Assembly Editor (Rough Cut Editor) – Long-Form YouTube Content

We are looking for a Video Assembly Editor to prepare long-form YouTube videos for our final production editor.

The goal is to reduce 60-90 minutes of raw footage into a clean, organized timeline that our final editor can immediately begin working on

This is NOT a creative editing role. You will NOT be responsible for B-roll, motion graphics, animations, thumbnails, captions, or final production.

Your job is to create a clean rough cut that is ready for our senior editor.

Responsibilities:

* Review raw footage
* Remove mistakes, bad takes, retakes, filler words, long pauses, and dead space
* Assemble clips into the correct sequence
* Improve pacing and flow
* Organize project files and timelines
* Enhance audio using Adobe Podcast Studio
* Deliver a clean, polished rough cut ready for final editing

Requirements:

* Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro or similar editing software
* Experience using Adobe Podcast Studio
* Strong attention to detail
* Ability to follow instructions and maintain consistency
* Fast turnaround times
