Job Description Overview:
As a Website Designer with us, you will be responsible for designing visually stunning and user-friendly websites. Your focus will be on creating intuitive UX/UI designs that enhance user engagement and satisfaction.
Additionally, you will craft compelling graphic elements that align with our clients' brand identity and goals. Having an understanding of Australian lifestyle, culture, etc will help.
Key Responsibilities:
1. UX/UI Design:
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand project requirements, client goals, and user needs.
- Design wireframes and mockups that illustrate the design, structure and functionality of websites.
- Ensure that designs are responsive and optimised for various devices and browsers.
2. Graphic Design:
- Select suitable colours, fonts, images, etc for each website.
- Create visually appealing graphic elements, including icons, banners, and other digital assets, including logos from time to time.
- Develop and maintain style guides to ensure brand consistency across the website and other offsite platforms.
- Ensure that all graphic elements and image choices align with the client's brand guidelines and project objectives.
- Work closely with developers to ensure seamless integration of design elements.
- Stay updated with design trends and implement best practices in all design work.
3. Collaboration and Teamwork:
- Work closely with project managers, developers, and other team members to ensure successful project delivery.
- Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions to contribute ideas and solutions.
- Create and keep clear timelines for milestones to ensure projects stay on track.
Resources and Tech We Use:
- Websites are built on Wordpress, using mainly Divi, but also Elementor, WPBakery, and other themes.
- Designer can work straight on Wordpress or use Figma or other design platforms.
- A Divi web builder library is available to use elements from which might help with the web design.
- Team platforms such as Clickup and Slack.
- Google Docs.
- Stock images.
- Client images when available.
