UI/UX Appllication Designer

We are a custom software development company. We custom build apps (mobile and web) for any market sector or industry, solving business problems using elegant software. We focus on both web-based applications as well as native mobile applications for both iOS and Android.

Essential Designs - ----------

We are seeking a UX/UI Designer. This is a remote role. The ideal candidate will be excited about the opportunity to help shape the design of new and existing products, based on customers' and businesses’ needs. As a member of the UX/UI Team, you’ll be working collaboratively with other designers conducting user research, crafting the information architecture, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and testing.

Your role is multi-functional inside our team, to work with the sales team and customers during the quotation process, to help capture requirements or create mockups. You will also manage the wireframing and design process on our client applications once the project launches. These applications can be consumer mobile apps or business data applications. Looking for someone who likes a fast-paced environment, and is flexible.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Testing
- Wireframing, creating mockups and prototypes
- Taking wireframes to mid and high fidelity
- Creating user flows and user journeys
- Working directly with clients to gather and evaluate requirements and business goals
- Coordinating with Project Management and customers to make UX/UI adjustments
- Adhere to style standards for fonts, colours, styles and graphics
- Drafting project documents

QUALIFICATIONS

- Proficient in using Sketch, Figma, InVision and Google Suite. Knowledge of Adobe -Creative Suite is an asset
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- UI/UX diploma is an asset
- UX/UI Design: 1 year (required)
- Requirements gathering experience an asset
- Relevant work experience in a similar role
