Remote | Full-Time Subcontractor | Fast-Paced | Long-Term Role

We are Dominate Next, a performance marketing agency based in Scotland. We help DTC brands in the UK, US, and Australia scale through Meta ads.

We are hiring a UGC Video Editor who can turn raw creator footage into scroll-stopping ads that convert. This is not a “make it pretty” role. It is about pacing, clarity, rhythm, and retention.

What you will do
- Edit short-form UGC ads for Meta (Facebook and Instagram).
- Create ~10 short-form videos per week (with variations).
- Add native-feeling captions, on-screen text, simple motion, and sound design.
- Build multiple versions fast: different hooks, pacing, shots.
- Take feedback daily and iterate quickly.
- Keep edits aligned to the supplied brief.
- Work closely with the rest of our team.


What we need from you
Must-haves
- Very proficient in CapCut (this is our preferred workflow).
- Strong sense of rhythm, flow, and timing.
- Sharp attention to detail: captions, cuts, pacing, audio levelling.
- Strong English communication (written and spoken).
- Experience editing UGC, TikTok/Reels, or paid social ads (at least 1 year).
- Reliable internet and delivery.

Big plus
- You have edited direct-response e-commerce ads for Meta.
- You understand performance creative basics.
- You can repurpose footage into new angles without being spoon-fed.

Working setup
- Full-time role (remote).
- 8 hours per day, including a 1-hour break.
- Fast-paced environment with direct feedback and clear standards.
- Long-term position if you perform.

Pay
- $700 to $950 USD per month, depending on experience, speed, and quality.
