Tele Collection Officer

Job Description
The Collections Specialist will be working with clients. This is a key function for the group. You will be managing our collections portfolio and have the ability to further develop your functional expertise.
In this role, you will…
Be responsible for daily collections of low, medium and high-risk accounts, both verbal and written, and in accordance with our collections strategies and policies.
Ensure our collection policies are adhered to at all times and that you operate in good faith and according to Fair debt collections act, bil: 1448.
Negotiate payment agreements, including but not limited to restructuring proposals and/or deeds of company arrangements.
Maintain accurate records within our Collections module on all collection activities and next actions.
Ensure escalations are initiated in a timely manner.
Respond promptly, and accurately, to both client and internal stakeholder inquiries.
Qualifications

A relevant degree in Finance, Law or related business discipline.
Previous collections experience or individuals who are willing to learn.
