JOB OVERVIEW

Systems & Automation Expert (Performance Trial)

This role begins with a 10-day (shift) paid performance trial, designed to identify highly capable, technically efficient, and self-motivated individuals who solve problems and execute with consistency and clarity.

You’ll be part of a select group of candidates showcasing their skills — so bring your best. You’ll have a chance to demonstrate your ability to design clean, reliable automations in N8N, show resourcefulness in troubleshooting, and think two steps ahead when building workflows. The individual who stands out through precision, consistency, and technical clarity will be offered the full-time position and continued growth opportunities within the team.

Full-time compensation after successful completion of the trial: $1,500 USD per month.

Before then, compensation and expectations during the trial are as follows:
Trial Pay: $5 USD per day (a nominal amount to confirm commitment and consistency)
Hours per Day: 5 hours
Trial Focus: Clarity, consistency, communication, task execution, and problem-solving.

Role Overview

As a Systems & Automation Expert, you’ll be responsible for architecting, testing, and maintaining workflow automations that support our internal operations and data pipelines. You’ll work closely with leadership to translate business needs into efficient, scalable automation systems using N8N and related tools.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, learns quickly, and is capable of connecting complex tools into a clean, cohesive ecosystem.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain multi-step automation workflows in N8N to streamline data collection, processing, and reporting.

Integrate APIs, databases, and third-party platforms to ensure systems operate reliably end-to-end.

Troubleshoot automation errors and develop robust solutions that minimize manual intervention.

Document workflows clearly and ensure proper version control.

Identify bottlenecks and propose optimizations across existing systems.

Collaborate cross-functionally with data, product, and operations teams to design new automation layers.

Requirements:

Proven experience building automations in N8N, Make (Integromat), Zapier, or similar workflow tools.

Strong understanding of APIs, webhooks, and data flow logic.

Ability to rapidly learn and adapt to new tools and systems.

Experience with Google Drive, Sheets, and Notion integrations preferred.

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ideal Candidate:

You’re methodical yet fast. You see broken processes as puzzles to fix, not problems to avoid. You can reverse-engineer a system just by looking at its workflow map, and you get satisfaction from seeing your automations run cleanly without errors.

You thrive in environments where clarity, precision, and consistency matter — and you love using automation to create leverage.
