JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer with extensive experience in the design and analysis of reinforced concrete structures for U.S.-based projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Flat Plate Design, proficiency in ETABS and SAFE, and a thorough understanding of U.S. building codes and structural design standards.

This role requires the ability to perform structural analysis, prepare engineering calculations, develop design solutions, and produce accurate documentation for reinforced concrete building systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform structural analysis and design for reinforced concrete structures, with a focus on flat plate (two-way slab) systems.
Develop structural calculations, design reports, and engineering documentation in compliance with U.S. codes and standards.
Conduct gravity, lateral, and seismic load analysis using industry-standard software.
Create and review ETABS models for structural analysis and design.
Create and review SAFE models for slab and foundation design.
Design reinforced concrete slabs, columns, foundations, and other structural components.
Prepare and coordinate structural drawings, specifications, and calculation packages.
Ensure designs comply with applicable U.S. building codes, including ACI, ASCE, IBC, and related standards.
Coordinate with architects, engineers, drafters, and project stakeholders to ensure design accuracy and project success.
Review project requirements and provide technical recommendations and solutions.
Support project teams throughout the design and documentation process.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years of experience working on U.S.-based structural engineering projects for U.S. firms or clients.
Proven experience in the structural analysis and design of reinforced concrete structures, particularly Flat Plate Design (two-way slab systems without beams).
Strong working knowledge of U.S. building codes and design standards, including ACI, ASCE, IBC, and related codes.
Proficient in ETABS for structural analysis and design and SAFE for slab and foundation design.
Experienced in performing structural calculations, gravity/lateral/seismic load analysis, and preparing design documentation for reinforced concrete structures.
Strong understanding of reinforced concrete behavior, load paths, foundation systems, and structural design principles.
Experience reviewing and coordinating structural drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and calculation packages.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and project coordination skills.
Experience with mid-rise or high-rise reinforced concrete buildings, BIM workflows, and remote collaboration with U.S.-based engineering teams is highly preferred.
Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent is an advantage.
