Job Title: Structural CAD Engineer

We are seeking a Structural CAD Engineer to prepare foundation and anchoring drawings for a modular building project. This is a part time role (Leading to a full time) supporting the architectural and permitting process.
Job Description:

You’ll be responsible for drafting a slab foundation plan, tie-down/anchoring layout, and any required elevation data to meet ADA access and plumbing requirements. The goal is to produce a complete, permit-ready drawing set that can be reviewed and stamped by a licensed structural engineer.

You’ll work from existing floor plans and notes provided by the architectural team and be expected to deliver clear DWG and PDF outputs suitable for submittal.
Scope of Work:

Create a concrete slab foundation plan with rebar, dimensions, and control joints

Draft tie-down/anchoring details in accordance with standard codes

Incorporate elevation guidance for ADA access and plumbing

Coordinate drawings with architectural CAD set

Prepare DWG and PDF deliverables for permitting and engineering review

Requirements:

Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD tools

Experience drafting foundation and structural plans

Familiarity with modular building installations required

Ability to deliver within tight timelines and respond to revision requests quickly
