JOB OVERVIEW

We're looking for a static ad designer who can produce scroll-stopping image ads that convert — not just look good. This is an ongoing role for the right person, starting with a paid trial.

Important up front: this role is judged on performance. We measure success by whether the ads drive profitable results, not by how polished the portfolio looks. If you're confident your static ads can convert and you're comfortable being measured on it, this is a great fit. If you're looking for a role where output is judged only on aesthetics, this isn't it.
What you'll do

Create static image ads for our products (sets, dresses, tops) based on clear creative briefs we provide
Work from a defined creative system — we'll give you our messaging framework (we use specific angles and tones, all documented in a guide you'll receive)
Turn raw photos and UGC stills into high-performing ad creative
Produce multiple concepts per week, with distinct visual hooks — not minor text swaps on the same layout
Iterate quickly on what's working

What we're looking for

Proven experience designing static ads for DTC/ecommerce brands (fashion, beauty, or similar a strong plus)
A portfolio of ad creative — but more importantly, examples of ads that performed, with context on results if you have it
Strong grasp of what makes a static ad stop the scroll and convert: hierarchy, hook, the first thing the eye lands on
Fast, reliable, communicative — hits deadlines and flags blockers early
Comfortable working to a brief and a defined creative system rather than freestyling

How this works

We start with a paid trial: you'll build a few image ads to our actual brief, and we may run one or two live to see how they perform
Clear expectations from day one — we'll tell you the performance bar before you start, so there's never ambiguity about what "working" looks like
Strong performers move into an ongoing role with consistent weekly work and a bonus structure tied to ad performance (ads that hit spend and ROAS targets earn bonuses)
Hours and weekly scope defined clearly up front
