We’re seeking a skilled Squarespace website designer to assist with project-based work for our clients—independent musicians who need clean, professional websites to promote their services and book more gigs.

You’ll work with our creative team to build and update Squarespace websites using proven templates/layouts. Our clients are typically singers, guitarists, pianists, and other live performers who need an online presence that reflects their talent and helps convert visitors into bookings for weddings, private events, and local gigs.


Key Responsibilities:
*Create new Squarespace websites using provided templates and brand assets
*Customize site layout, colors, fonts, and sections to fit each client’s needs (bio, setlist, media, booking info)
*Update and improve existing Squarespace websites as needed
*Ensure mobile responsiveness, fast load times, and user-friendly navigation
*Occasionally integrate third-party tools (e.g., Calendly, YouTube, Bandcamp, email opt-ins)

Requirements:
*Proficient in Squarespace (especially 7.1 and Fluid Engine)
*Strong design sense and attention to detail
*Experience creating client-facing websites, preferably for personal brands, creatives, or service providers
*Able to follow a creative brief, communicate clearly, and meet deadlines
*Organized, independent, and reliable

Preferred Qualifications:
*Previous work with musicians, artists, or other creative professionals
*Light graphic design experience (e.g., Canva or Photoshop)
*Understanding of music/event promotion or online booking tools
*A strong portfolio of Squarespace projects

Project Terms:
*Freelance, remote, project-based work
*Most projects take 5 to 10 hours using our internal templates and systems
*Start with one project; opportunity for more ongoing work if it’s a strong fit
