JOB OVERVIEW

We’re building a digital presence that reflects our professionalism, trust, and forward-thinking edge. As part of our growth, we’re looking for someone to help us put the finishing touches on our Squarespace website before launch.

The Role
We’re seeking a detail-oriented and creative Website Coordinator to ensure our new Squarespace site is polished, functional, and ready to make a strong first impression. You’ll be responsible for testing, refining, and optimising the website so it not only looks professional but also performs seamlessly across devices and search engines.

This role is perfect for someone with a sharp eye for design consistency, a knack for problem-solving, and a solid understanding of web usability and SEO.

Responsibilities
Conduct a thorough QA (quality assurance) audit of the website, ensuring all links, buttons, forms, and navigation elements function correctly.
Ensure correct application of colour schemes, fonts, spacing, and layouts to align with brand guidelines.
Optimise all on-page SEO elements (meta titles, descriptions, alt text, headings, keyword placement).
Test mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility.
Ensure page load speeds meet best-practice benchmarks.
Provide recommendations for enhancements or improvements to user experience (UX).
Coordinate with our team to implement final changes and prepare the site for public launch.

About You
Familiarity with Squarespace
Strong attention to detail and an eye for design consistency.
Understanding of SEO best practices and web usability.
Ability to spot gaps, inconsistencies, or errors quickly.
Clear communicator who can make recommendations in plain language.
Proactive, self-driven, and able to take ownership of website readiness.

Nice to Have (but not essential)
Experience with property, real estate, or professional services websites.
Graphic design or copywriting background.
Knowledge of Google Analytics and basic website tracking setup.

This is a short-term contract/freelance role with the potential for ongoing digital support opportunities as our business grows.
