Sponsor Success & Events Manager

We are looking for a highly organized, relationship-driven, and operationally strong person to own sponsor success and event operations across our community programs.

You will manage strategic sponsors and partners for one of the most respected engineering leadership communities in the industry.

What You'll Do

- Own the sponsor onboarding and success experience from contract signed through post-event follow-up
- Serve as the primary point of contact for sponsors over email, Zoom, and Slack
- Coordinate sponsor deliverables including booth setup, logistics, branding assets, speaker/session coordination, staff registration, VIP experiences, and lead reporting
- Build trusted long-term relationships with sponsors to improve retention and expansion year over year
- Handle demanding or high-expectation sponsors professionally and calmly
- Collaborate closely with conference production and operations teams
- Support both in-person and virtual event execution
- Help manage executive dinners, roundtables, webinars, meetups, and sponsor-driven events
- Support event marketing, registration growth, and sponsor promotions

What We're Looking For:

- Exceptional communication skills over email and Zoom
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Customer-first mindset with strong relationship-building ability
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and timelines simultaneously
- Experience in Customer Success, Event Operations, Partnerships, or Account Management
- Experience supporting executive-level audiences is a plus
- Comfortable working in fast-moving startup-style environments
