Software Tester

About the Role:
We are looking for a technically skilled and detail-oriented Software Tester to help ensure the quality and performance of our digital products. You will play a critical role in testing web and mobile applications, both manually and through automation, and will work closely with developers and the product owner to deliver reliable, high-quality software.

This is a remote position supporting a website based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The initial engagement will be a 1-month probation period. Based on performance, the selected candidate will be offered a permanent position, either on a remote basis or on-site in the UAE, depending on mutual preference and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze business requirements and extract/document clear, detailed test cases.
• Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications.
• Design and implement automated test scripts using Selenium.
• Write test code to validate backend services using any programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript).
• Conduct API testing using Postman and SoapUI.
• Execute performance and load testing using tools like JMeter.
• Report and track bugs, verify fixes, and perform regression testing.
• Communicate actively with the development team and product owner to clarify features and expectations.
• Collaborate closely with tea ---------- mbers and stakeholders throughout the development cycle.
• Participate in evaluation after the first month of probation to determine suitability for long-term engagement.
• Maintain a proactive, collaborative, and team-oriented attitude.

Skills & Qualifications:
• Strong experience in both manual and automated testing.
• Proficient with Selenium and API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI).
• Familiar with writing test scripts using any modern programming language.
• Experienced with performance testing tools like JMeter.
• Good communicator with an ability to translate business needs into test scenarios.
• A strong team player with attention to detail and a solution-oriented mindset.

Nice to Have:
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and test integration.
• Experience in Agile teams.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
